"Nishi Ward Town Development Policy" has been revised!

Yokohama City has established the “Yokohama City Urban Planning Master Plan”, which shows a long-term basic policy on city planning for the entire city area, and its composition is based on the “whole design” and the “regional design”.
"Nishi Ward town development policy" corresponds to "ward plan" which showed future image of ward among regional plans and showed basic policy in promoting town development in collaboration with citizen.
The original "ward plan" was formulated in February 2003. More than 10 years have passed since then, and the social situation has changed drastically, such as increased interest in urban disaster prevention and the aging of the birthrate. In order to make revisions based on these changes, preparations have been made since FY2014, and a new "Nishi Ward Town Development Policy" was revised and announced on November 15, 2016.
On revision, we had many inhabitants of a ward think about town development and reflected the opinion as much as possible.
