About the park
A small park near a house where I often played as a child, a large park where everyone went on an excursion. The park where you can gather, relax and enjoy is a common property of everyone.

Park Initiatives in Naka Public Works Office
[Maintenance of parks managed by Naka Public Works Office]
Naka Public Works Office maintains and maintains trees by improving, repairing and repairing park facilities and playground equipment under management.
If there is any abnormality in the playground equipment, please contact Naka Public Works Office for on-site confirmation and investigation.
When using playground equipment, parents should consider their physical strength and physical abilities, and provide support as necessary, regardless of whether they are inside or outside the target age.

- Facility inspections ... Naka Ward conducts park facilities and playground equipment inspections four times a year.

- Mowing and cutting ... We carry out mowing (about once or twice a year) for parks with a certain size.
- Tree pruning ... It is carried out about once every 4 to 5 years.

About park with health appliance
What are health appliances?
"Health appliances" are facilities for adults that are installed so that you can easily exercise under the blue sky.
Stretching, stimulating acupressure points in the body, training muscles, etc., and it can also help to eliminate daily lack of exercise. Please use it freely according to the physical strength of the person and make use of it for your health promotion.

Application for exercise facility use (Kashiwaba Park, Kominato Minami Park, Honmoku Hiroba Park)
In parks with local open facilities in parks such as multi-purpose open spaces and tennis courts, the community and user groups form a "Management Steering Committee" and ask for daily management such as usage adjustment.
Naka Ward is formed at Kashiwaba Park, Kominato Minami Park and Honmoku Hiroba Park.
We request acceptance and use adjustment of facility use application, light repair of facility, cleaning, weeding, call for improvement of user manners, etc.
The application for the use of sports facilities at "Kashiwaba Park, Koko Minami Park, Honmoku Hiroba Park" is left to the Management and Management Committee to adjust the usage.

What is the Park Protection Association?

The Yokohama Park Protection Association System is a system established in 1961 ahead of the whole country. Today, similar systems have been introduced in many cities across the country. In Yokohama City, about 90% of the parks have protection associations. Management of imminent park which is "garden" of local everybody and is property of citizen's common property requires active cooperation of local everybody as well as Yokohama-shi setting up park. For this reason, for daily management such as cleaning and weeding of parks, we have formed a volunteer group centered on local residents and cooperated. .
In Naka Ward, 79 of the 92 parks have been formed and active.

There are 71 park protection associations in the park under the jurisdiction of Naka Public Works Office.
We publish "Hana ☆ Medaka Tsushin" for the protection society of Naka Ward.

- We clean and weed the park, do the flower beds, and call for manners to park users. You can also conduct activities to further enhance the appeal of the park, such as events organized by the Protection Association and flower beds.

Depending on local circumstances, there are various factors such as coordinating with the entire Neighborhood Association and one department, and senior citizens' associations and children's associations. It may be formed by local volunteers, volunteer groups, and companies.
