In Public Works Office, we are working to improve, repair and repair the park facilities and playground equipment we manage, renovate and renovate the park facilities and playground equipment.

About park with health equipment
What are health equipment?

Application for use of exercise facilities (Kashiwaha Park, Kokonan Park, Honmaki Hiroba Park)
In parks with local open facilities in parks such as multipurpose open spaces and tennis courts, we have local communities and user groups form a "management committee" and ask for daily management such as usage adjustment .
In Naka Ward, it is formed at Kashiwaba Park, Kokonan Park and Honmoku Hiroba Park.
We ask for reception and use adjustment of facility use, light repair of facility, cleaning, weeding, call for improvement of user manners, etc.
The application for the use of sports facilities for "Kashiwaha Park, Koko Minami Park, Honmaki Hiroba Park" is left to the Management and Steering Committee.

"Park Protection Association," a volunteer group in a familiar park
What is the Park Protection Association?

Yokohama City's Park Protection Association System was established in 1961, ahead of the rest of the country. At present, similar systems have been introduced in many cities across the country. Protection associations are active in about 90% of parks in Yokohama City. The management of familiar parks, which are the "garden" of the local people and is a common property of citizens, requires not only the Yokohama City, where the park is set up, but also the active cooperation of local residents. For this reason, for daily management such as cleaning and weeding of the park, we have formed a volunteer group led by local residents, and have them cooperate.
In Naka Ward, 79 of 92 parks have formed protection associations and are active.
