About certification
Regarding food and drinks recommended by residents of the ward, Director General listens to the opinions of the study group by representatives of the ward, etc., and certifies up to 15 items with the consent of the business operator as "Minami Souvenirs".
※The announcement of certified products is scheduled for around June 2025.

We founded the first store in Minamiota about 60 years ago. The specialties of Karin and Manju are brown sugar from Haterumajima, Okinawa Prefecture, domestic unbleached flour, and Hokkaido red beans. Refreshing taste that is not too sweet.

A famous confection designated by the prefecture, where the main statue of Komeiji, "Eleven Kannon Statue," is drawn on the skin. There are two types: "Kokura An", which uses 100% azuki from Tokachi, Hokkaido, and "Yuzuan", which has a refreshing scent of yuzu. Showcases that have been used since the war are also a must-see.

It is a good location just after getting off Komyoji Station on the Keikyu Line, making it perfect for a walk. Imagawa ware is also sold, so be sure to do that.
