About motorcycle scrap car declaration (procedure in March!)

light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) is levied on owners as of April 1 of each year and will not be refunded on a monthly basis if they are disposed of or transferred in the middle of the year.
Taxes will be levied on owners as of April 1, 2024 for FY2024.
In the case of disposal or transfer, please report within March 2024.
For 125cc or less, please contact the ward office light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) (32nd window on the third floor of the Minami Ward government office), and for over 125cc, please apply at the Kanagawa Transportation Bureau.
