About the Midori Ward Heritage

The tangible historical, natural and cultural resource that exists within the Midori Ward. The purpose of this project is to be preserved as resources within the Midori Ward.
For example, the following are registered as Midori Ward heritage:

• Historical resources such as stone monuments and structures
• Natural resources such as rows of cherry blossom trees and old waterways
• Cultural resources such as monuments created for the local community

We publish the Midori Ward Heritage Little Walk, a booklet that introduces the Midori Ward heritage and its related knowledge, as well as nearby walking spots. Please use this when you actually visit Midori Ward heritage.

Once registered as a Midori Ward heritage, the Midori Ward Office will provide support for registered resources.
For example,…

• We perform PR using public information medium (public information Yokohama green ward version, Midori Ward government office web).
• We perform procedures such as private use permission application necessary for setting of information board.
• We offer Midori Ward heritage nameplate

• The applicant for registration must be an organization.
• The owner's consent has been obtained for registration.
• Continuous monitoring by registered organizations
• The purpose of registration is not political, or not for missionary purposes
