About Midori Ward Heritage

The tangible historical, natural and cultural resources existing in Midori Ward are recognized in the region. The aim is to preserve the resources of the Midori Ward in the future.
For example, the following are registered as Midori Ward heritage.

• Historical resources such as stone monuments and buildings
• Natural resources such as rows of cherry blossom trees and old waterways
• Cultural resources such as monuments created for the community

Please refer to the "Midori Ward Heritage List" page for the registered Midori Ward heritage sites.

We have published a booklet titled "Midori Ward Heritage Little Walk," which introduces Midori Ward's heritage and its related trivia and nearby walking spots. Please use this when you actually visit Midori Ward heritage.

Once registered as a Midori Ward Heritage site, the Midori Ward Office will support the registered resources.
For example…

• We perform PR using public information media (public information Yokohama green ward version, Midori Ward government office Web, etc.)
• We perform procedures such as private use permission application necessary for setting of information board.
• We offer Midori Ward heritage nameplates

• The applicant for registration must be an organization
• The owner's consent has been obtained for registration.
• Continuing monitoring by registered organizations
• The purpose of registration is not political, nor is it a missionary purpose.
