[6th session] I went to see the mosss of Kamoi again this year!　

On Friday, April 19, I went to the riverbed of the Tsurumi River near Kamoi Station to see the moss cherry blossoms.
This moss cherry tree was planted on the embankment by members of the Green River, River and Wind Society, which is engaged in environmental conservation activities based on the riverbed of Kamoi. It was first planted three years ago and is now a popular spot in Kamoi where pink carpets spread out.
It was planted on the riverbed on the south side of Kamoike Bridge, and all the people crossing the bridge toward Kamoi Station stopped and watched the turf cherry blossoms.

In order to protect the landscape of the riverbed, regular mowing, pebble removal, and watering are performed throughout the year. Thanks to these activities on a daily basis, the riverbed has become clean, and the number of people who throw away garbage is reduced because it is beautiful, and I realize that it has led to a good circulation, and I am grateful again for the activities of the local people Thank you.

Also, at the Green River and Winds Association, we are planning events to make people feel familiar with the Tsurumi River so that people can think of Midori Ward as their hometown. From April 20 to the end of Golden Week, mini carp streamers designed by elementary school studenｔ of Takeyama Elementary School, Midori Elementary School, and Takeyama Elementary School, are decorated over the Tsurumi River and swimKamoi!
