We carried out "dog training classroom-preparing for disaster ..." on Saturday, March 2, 2024, Saturday 9th.

Classes were held to learn how to train dogs in case of disaster. On March 2nd and 9th, we invited Dr. Hiroko Otsukyuuda, a veterinarian and train instructor at Okuda Animal Hospital, as a lecturer, and the first lecture (lecture) was held at the Midori Ward Office. Lectures were introduced with many examples, such as the owner preparing for a disaster and preparing for a disaster, basic discipline based on dog ecology, and training necessary in the event of a disaster.
The second (practical skills) was a practical skill section co-hosted with Nagasakaya Park, where a practical exercise with a dog was held. Practices such as "contact", "Sitting" and "Oide", which are the basics of discipline, and practice such as "walk on cardboard" and "meal in cardboard" assuming life in the event of a disaster. Was.
Participants commented that they were able to learn the importance of discipline on a daily basis, and it was a good opportunity to think about disasters.
