Area introduction

In the old days, it prospered as a post town on the Oyama Kaido on the Tokaido, and in 1908, Nagatsuta Station opened in conjunction with the opening of the JR Yokohama Line. It has more than 100,000 passengers a day as a transfer station for the JR Yokohama Line, Tokyu Denentoshi Line, and the Yokohama High Speed Rail Children's Koku Line, making it a major transportation node in the city.
Along with the new townscape, the history that is the charm of the town has been inherited, and it has become a lively town suitable for traffic nodes that make use of the history. In addition, social activities are thriving as a base for culture and exchange, and the shopping district is also lively.
