Event Overview

In October 2019, Midori Ward celebrates its 50th anniversary. We will hold ceremonies, lectures and celebrations to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Midori Ward system.

Oh Lecture
 Lecturer: Mr. Yasunobu Matokawa
 "Living on this earth-our future thinking now-"
 We live on the earth, which is said to be a miracle star. Dr. Matogawa talks about the future earth and us in the future.

  Professor Emeritus of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), a member of the Science Council of Japan, and director of the Hamagin Children's Space Science Museum.
  Graduated from the University of Tokyo. Institute for Space and Astronautical Science, The University of Tokyo, Professor, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Director, Kagoshima Space Center, Japan External Cooperation Office, JAXA
  After serving as an executive officer, he assumed his current position. Doctor of Engineering. He is also the honorary director of the Yamato Museum in his hometown of Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture.
  Contributed to the improvement of mu rockets and the birth of numerous scientific satellites, including Japan's first satellite "Osumi". In the 1980s, Comet Harley explorer
  Active as a central member of painting. In 2005, he was instrumental in establishing the JAXA Space Education Center and became the first director of the center. Japan's Space Activities
  It is also called "the father of space education." He has authored many books, such as "Looking at the Time of Human Stars" (Kyoritsu Publishing).
  It is also a model of Yasuhiro Matoba (directed by Toshiyuki Nishida) of the movie "Hayabusa / HAYABUSA" (20th Century Fox).

By Saturday, August 31, please apply for the Internet application / application form by fax or e-mail. (Refer to the attached flyer) Ceremony and lecture will be applied as a set. It is also possible to apply only for ceremonies and lectures or celebrations.
