We attended the awards ceremony of the "SDGs Future City and Environmental Picture Diary Exhibition 2023" and presented eight winners of the Special Prizes, including the The Mayor of Yokohama Prize.
I was impressed by the works drawn with the rich ideas and viewpoints unique to elementary school students, and through the picture diary, I was reliable that children could think about environmental issues and take action.
Yokohama City will continue to do its utmost to work with citizens, companies, and all stakeholders, to pass on the irreplaceable environment to the next generation.
