We visited the OECD headquarters located in Paris.
First, Deputy Secretary-General Takeuchi explained the current state of the OECD, and confirmed the strengthening of cooperation between Yokohama City and the OECD in addressing climate change and activities in Asia.
Lamia Kamal-Chawi, Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Region and Cities (Centre for Entrepreneurship), introduced that Yokohama City is working toward realizing a society where no one is left behind (inclusive growth). In my participation in the OECD Champion Mayors for Inclusive Growth, the OECD Champion Mayors for Inclusive Growth, a network established by OECD, expressed his expectations for Yokohama's leadership in Asia. Subsequently, discussions were held on how to promote cooperation between Yokohama City and the OECD in Asia, focusing on climate change countermeasures.
He was also interviewed by OECD policy analyst on participating in the OECD Champion Meyers for Inclusive Growth. In the future, I would like to deepen our collaboration with 65 Champion Mayer.
