I gave a greeting at the "Sail Training Ship, Nippon Maru Total Sailing Exhibition 400th Anniversary Ceremony".
There are a total of 29 Nippon Maru sails, and all sails will be expanded in the total sails.
The work of spreading the sail is carried out by hand with the cooperation of volunteers who have completed training. Yokohama is proud of its passion for the Nippon Maru, including volunteers, is our pride.
We sincerely hope that the Nippon Maru, an important cultural property of the country, will continue to be loved by many people as a symbol of Yokohama Minato Mirai.
