I met with Mr. Filimone Wagabaza, Ambassador of Japan to Japan.
Yokohama City is collaborating with Fiji through technical cooperation through the Y-PORT project.
The ambassador mentioned that junior high school students in Yokohama are interacting with Fiji through rugby, and stated that they would like to continue such exchanges in the future.
I would like to thank the children of Yokohama for their valuable opportunities, and introduce the international convention "Y-SHIP2023" to be held in November and the 2027 International Horticultural Expo "GREEN x EXPO 2027" to address common issues such as global warming countermeasures.
We will continue to deepen our cooperation.
