I met with the Ambassador of Fiji to Japan, Mr.
Yokohama City is collaborating with Fiji for technical cooperation through the Y-PORT project.
The ambassador mentioned that junior high school students in Yokohama are interacting with Fiji through rugby, and stated that he would like to continue such exchanges in the future.
I would like to thank the children of Yokohama for their valuable opportunities, and introduced the international convention "Y-SHIP 2023" to be held in November and the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition "GREEN x EXPO 2027" and called for efforts to address common issues such as global warming countermeasures.
We would like to continue to deepen our cooperation.
