From May 8th, the position of the new coronavirus under the Infectious Diseases Law will be changed to Class 5 infectious diseases. Therefore, we held the new coronavirus measures headquarters meeting to confirm the current situation in the city including the infection situation, and showed the response of the city after May 8.
The new coronavirus infection countermeasures will be shifted from government-led to independent measures for each and every one of you due to five types. We ask that you take appropriate measures against infection based on appropriate judgment, such as hand washing, ventilation, avoiding three traffic congestion, and wearing a mask according to the situation.
Yokohama City will continue to provide necessary support, including providing information that contributes to your judgment.
