I met Joseph Panetta, CEO of Biocom California, one of the world's largest bio-industry group in sister city San Diego. In response to the fact that Japan is attracting high attention as an overseas business destination for U.S. life science companies, we talked about the strengths of Yokohama, an international city that is easy for foreigners to live in and agglomeration of R&D personnel.
Going forward, we will continue to deepen cooperation by US companies in Yokohama and overseas expansion of city companies overseas, leading to the growth and development of the city economy.
