In 2025, he held a meeting to invite the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) to be held in Japan in 2025.
Yokohama has held three times the Tokyo International Conference on African Development, and every time we have deepened our ties with Africa, and many citizens who have interacted with each other are familiar with African culture. At the Council, we once again shared our thoughts with the committee members to contribute to revitalizing the economy of Kanagawa and Yokohama and strengthening relations with Africa.　
In order to realize the 9th meeting in Yokohama, we will work together with related organizations and related organizations in Kanagawa Prefecture and Yokohama City, and work on All Yokohama.
