Konan Ward Consumer Affairs Promotion Committee

In Konan Ward, 117 members of the Consumer Affairs Promotion Committee conduct educational activities, such as circulation of circulars. (As of May 2022)
We have about two district representatives from each district and hold "consumer life promotion member district representative meeting" once every one or two months.

It is issued once a year and introduces activities in each district.

At the Konan Children's Dream World, which is held in November every year, the Konan Ward Consumer Affairs Promotion Team is exhibiting booths.
We hold flea markets in the morning and eco-crafts for children in the afternoon.
※In fiscal 2021, due to the impact of the new coronavirus, there was a change in the method of holding this Nanko Children's Dream World.
　We were unable to exhibit at the booth.

We hold facility tours to learn about environmentally friendly initiatives by companies and others.
In fiscal 2019, we visited courtroom facilities and observed criminal trials at the Yokohama District Court to learn about after consumer troubles.
※Due to the impact of the new coronavirus, the facility tour was canceled in FY2021.

At local and ward events, panels are displayed and consumer life information is provided.
In fiscal 2020, a panel exhibition was held at the Kumin Hall on the first floor of the Konan Ward Office.

We operate a reuse information bulletin board in front of the elevator on the first floor of the Konan Ward government office.
