I would like to introduce how to proceed with baby food.

Let's start baby food.
Start with porridge in a smooth and grinded state.
Don't give juice or ionic beverages before starting rice porridge.
Estimates to start
About 5 to 6 months after birth, let's start referring to the following guidelines.
- You can turn over with a tight neck.
- You can sit for more than 5 seconds
- Even if you put a spoon in your mouth, it is less likely to push it out with your tongue.
- Show interest in food Etc.
If you adjust the breastfeeding rhythm and show them how you are eating, you will progress smoothly.
※If you are born earlier than the expected date of birth (preterm birth), use the "modified age" counted from the expected date of birth as a guide for the baby food time.

Hold it on an adult's knee or put it on a baby rack with a backrest.
The model in the video is a child of 5 months and 4 days after birth. I was a little surprised at the taste I experienced for the first time, but it is very good.
At first, it may be pushed out with your tongue or spilled out of your mouth, but it will gradually become better, so let's continue.
Hygiene points
- Wash your hands before cooking.
- Be sure to heat the food. There are lots of bacteria in the soil. Be sure to wash vegetables with soil before using them.
- Don't give leftovers.
- Since it is a small amount at the beginning, it can be subdivided about 3 times and stored frozen. In that case, let's cool the one that has been reheated well before giving it.
- Do not give honey until the age of one year to prevent baby/infant botulism.
- Wash kitchen utensils and dishes such as kitchen knives and cutting boards cleanly and disinfect them with boiling water.
Early weaning (from 5 months to 6 months after birth)
The purpose is to swallow baby food and to make it feel and taste.
I'll give you it once a day. (After baby food, give breast milk or baby milk.)
Give breast milk or childcare milk as much as you want according to the breastfeeding rhythm.
The tongue moves back and forth. The goal is to close the lips and swallow it up.
Weaning starts with rice porridge (rice).
Once you get used to it, try grinded vegetables, tofu, white fish, hard boiled egg yolks, etc.
Seasonings are not required at the start of weaning.

How to eat
Try to tilt the baby's posture slightly backwards.
Place the spoon on your lower lip and wait for the baby to take it in yourself.
Use a spoon for baby food (slow and narrow) for spoons.

Medium-term weaning (around 7 to 8 months after birth)
Baby food is made twice a day to add a daily rhythm.
After baby food, give breast milk or baby milk.
It is a meal that combines cereals (staple food), vegetables (side dish), fruits, and protein foods (main dish).
The movement of the tongue goes up and down from the front and back.
Make it soft so that you can eat it by crushing it with your tongue and upper chin.
Place the spoon on the lower lip, and pull the spoon straight when it is closed.

How to eat

I'll give you the hardness that can be crushed with gums.
Baby food is served three times a day.
After baby food, give breast milk or baby milk.
The tongue moves left and right, allowing food to be placed on the gums.
Vegetables are cooked softly, do not cut too much, and make them easy to crush with gums.
You will be able to eat by hand. Let's prepare something that is easy to hold.
Touching and griping food can experience the touch and lead to interest in food and actions to eat with your own will.

Even if you want to eat, it doesn't work very well, and the surroundings are dirty and it's hard to clean up.
But it's a short period of time, so lay newspapers or leisure sheets on the floor and survive.
Let's start practicing drinking a cup.

Therefore, it is often seen that the food in front of you can grab it.
Let's not stop this kind of movement.

Complete weaning
Completion of weaning means that you can bite shaped foods and get most of your energy and nutrients from foods other than breast milk or parenting milk.
It does not mean that you can eat the same thing as an adult, so consider it as an extension of baby food until about 3 years old, and make it a light and easy to eat.
Meals are three times a day and have free time, so once or twice a day during meals, rice balls and fruits are given as snacks according to meals.
Breast milk or childcare milk depends on the progress and completion of baby food, but you can drink milk after one year old.
Also, let's graduate from the baby bottle and use a cup.
As for how to eat, you practice chewing with your front teeth by eating by hand, remember the bite amount, and eventually use ingredients such as spoons and forks.
Make sure to scratch the big and soft things.
