The Okurayama Memorial Hall in Yokohama was built in 1932 by Kunihiko Okura, president of Okura Paper Store, as the main building of the Okura Plastic Culture Research Institute. The design is the architect Uheiji Nagano.
It is a building with a unique style beauty that combines east and west cultures, incorporating Oriental designs into the pre-Herenic (now Creta Mycenae) style before ancient Greek (now Creta Mycenae) style before ancient Greek (now Creta Mycenae) style.
It was donated to Yokohama City in 1981, and after major renovation, it was opened as the Okurayama Memorial Hall in Yokohama City in 1984, and was designated as a tangible cultural property designated by Yokohama City in 1991. .
It can be used for activities in halls and assembly rooms, as well as for filming movies and television.
