Gathering of Safety and Security in Kohoku Ward in FY2023

On December 4, we held a gathering of safety and security in Kohoku Ward in public hall, Kohoku.
In addition to giving commendations and lectures to those who have contributed to traffic safety, poster contest winners, and anti-crime program who have contributed to the safety and security of Kohoku Ward, Marinos, Yokohama F. Marinos, and Yokohama F. Marinos Official Cheerleaders, and Tricolor Mermaids.
Travic is a coined word that combines "Traffic Safetey" and "Aerobic", and is aerobic to prevent traffic accidents for elderly pedestrians.
Finally, we asked Tricolor Mermaids to read out the Road Safety Declaration and anti-crime program Declaration to become a "safe and secure town."

We received a donation from the Kohoku Road Safety Association

On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Kohoku Ward received cash donations from the Kohoku Road Safety Association for traffic safety measures at elementary school student in the ward.
The donation received will be used for traffic safety measures in elementary school student in the ward, such as school zone road markings on school roads in the ward and repairing and installing green belts.

Gathering of Safety and Security in Kohoku Ward in FY2022

On December 8, we held a gathering of safety and security in Kohoku Ward in public hall, Kohoku for the first time in three years.
In addition to commending and giving lectures to those who have contributed to traffic safety, poster contest winners, and those who have contributed to anti-crime program, we asked Tricolor Mermaids to read out the Road Safety Declaration and anti-crime program's statement of determination to eliminate traffic accidents and crimes from Kohoku Ward.
Finally, we congratulated Yokohama F. Marinos, who won the J-League this year and excited the Kohoku Ward, and presented a bouquet to Marinosuke, a safety and security ambassador.

We received a donation from the Kohoku Road Safety Association

On Friday, July 29, 2022, Kohoku Ward received a cash donation from the Kohoku Road Safety Association for traffic safety measures at elementary school student in the ward.

Letter of Appreciation

The Kanagawa Prefectural Road Safety Measures Council received a letter of appreciation from the Kohoku Ward Road Safety Measures Council as an excellent council for promoting traffic safety measures in fiscal 2021.
This is given to organizations with a reduction rate of 80% or more from the previous year, including the suppression of traffic fatal accidents, and a decrease rate of 25% or more in the past five years.

2021 Kohoku Ward Road Safety Achievement Award

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we canceled the 2021 Kohoku Ward Safety and Security Gathering.
In fiscal 2021, Kohoku Ward Road Safety Achievement Award was awarded by four organizations from eight people.
On December 13, nine people attended the award ceremony held at the meeting room of the Kohoku Ward Office and awarded commendation certificates.

Kohoku Ward Road Safety Declaration

Building a safe and secure community without traffic accidents is a compelling wish of all Kohoku residents.
In order to promote traffic safety measures at home, school, workplace, and throughout the region, and to realize a community where everyone does not feel sad in a traffic accident, we will strive to improve traffic manners at any time, We declare that we will try to avoid accidents and accidents.
