School zone measures
School zone activities
Based on a request for improvement from the school zone countermeasures council established at each elementary school, the ward office (Regional Promotion Division and Public Works Office) and the police department will work together to improve the safety of school roads.
In addition to the hardware aspects, such as the development of safety facilities, it is also important to engage in software activities such as traffic safety education at homes and schools for the elementary school student, monitoring schools and traffic safety guidance in cooperation with local communities.

Traffic safety measures for infants (child care facility telephone pole winding)
In Kohoku Ward, where the population continues to grow, there are many childcare facilities where preschoolers gather, such as nursery schools and kindergartens.
Since the size of these facilities is smaller than that of schools and other facilities, it is difficult for people who drive cars and bicycles to recognize the existence of the facilities, the Yokohama F. Marinos character, and Miss Key, a Kohoku Ward character, will install telephone poleKohoku Ward on telephone poles near the facilities and encourage safe driving.
