[Basic Philosophy] Kohoku, a town where everyone can live healthy with peace of mind.
[Aiming for] Help and support each other, based on the principle that all inhabitants of the ward make connections with people, help and support each other.

District planning
In Kohoku Ward, residents take the lead in each of the 13 districts of the Japan National Council of Social Welfare (Neighborhood Associations) and Districts of Japan National Council of Social Welfare.
The District Planning and Promotion Committee is composed mainly of organizations and related organizations involved in local welfare and health activities, such as the Neighborhood Associations, the Japan National Council of Social Welfare, the Consumer Affairs Committee, Children's Committee, and Health Activity Promotion Members. In addition, support staff of ward office, ward association, community care plaza participate and work on development promotion of plan.

Formulation and Promotion Meeting
・1st Formulation and Promotion Meeting for FY2019 (held on August 1, 2019)
For the formulation of the 4th plan, we exchanged opinions on the outline of the plan and how to proceed in the future.
・2nd Formulation and Promotion Meeting for FY2019 (held on February 26, 2020)
We reported on the contents of the study group and welfare-related organizations hearing, and exchanged opinions on the outline of the plan revised at the time.
・1st Meeting of Formulation and Promotion of FY2020 (held on September 9, 2020)
They explained the draft (draft) and exchanged opinions. We revised a part of draft (plan) based on opinion of committee.
・2nd Formulation and Promotion Meeting for FY2020 (held in writing)
Thank you for your opinion on the draft.
・1st Formulation and Promotion Meeting for FY2021 (held on June 16, 2021)
We exchanged opinions about ward plan that reflected result of inhabitant of a ward opinion offer, and contents of ward plan were decided.
Held three times in total (September 2, October 30, and December 11, 2019)
・Outline of implementation
Purpose: Toward the formulation of the 4th Kohoku Ward Health and Welfare Plan "Hitto Plan Kohoku" (FY20193 to FY7), we will ask opinions on the ideal form of Kohoku Ward five years from now and the specific content that should be addressed.
Members: Academic person, district association, community care plaza director, local welfare officer, chief children's committee, core consultation support center, life support center, care prevention, life support center, care prevention and life support service assistance business (service B) implementation organization representative, free school representative, health activity promotion member society, adult guardianship support net representative

Since the spread of the new coronavirus infection greatly affected local connections and activities, we conducted a survey on the status of local activities and the connection with the community.
