About the evacuation sites to be opened in the event of a typhoon or heavy rain

　Yokohama City has selected cliffs that may cause significant damage to houses in the event of a landslide, and has selected the "Immediate evacuation warning Area" to issue evacuation warning at the same time.

　The Kanazawa Ward Office will issue an immediate evacuation warning and will open five evacuation sites locations to allow residents of the area to evacuate.
　For those who live in the target area, we will provide information by posting around June every year.

・Daido Elementary School (Daido 2-chome 3-1)

・Kamariya Higashi Elementary School (12-1, Kamariya Higashi 2-chome)

・Nishishiba Junior High School (1-23-1, Nishishiba)

・Ben Net Hall, Kanto Gakuin University (4th floor, SCC (Science and Culture Center)) (1-50-1, Rokuurahigashi)

　※From September 30, 2023, it was changed from Kanto Gakuin University Building 12.

Only when the announcement of a special heavy rain warning is expected, a special addition will be opened in addition to the above five evacuation sites locations at the discretion of the ward office.

Following the damage caused by Typhoon No. 19 in 2019, the Cabinet Office considered measures against storm and flood damage countermeasures, and the revised Basic Law on Disaster Countermeasures was enforced on May 20, 2021, and the name of evacuation information at the alert level was changed.
