Safety and Security Town Development Promotion Council was held.

The General Meeting of the Kanazawa Ward Safe and Secure Community Development Promotion Council was held on March 23, 2023, and discussions were held on the FY2022 activity report and the FY2023 activity plan.
We will work together to create a safe and secure Kanazawa Ward so that even one traffic accident or crime is reduced, even one traffic accident or crime.

In 2022, the total number of cases increased compared to the previous year. (633 for R3 → 658 cases for R4)

Of these, special frauds increased by 16 from the previous year to 72.
Various cases have occurred, such as refund fraud that tricks government officials and transfers money at ATMs by saying that there is a refund such as medical expenses, and oleoreal fraud that tricks sons and grandchildren into tricks cash.
"Phone number has changed." "Tell me how to operate ATMs over the phone." If you receive a phone call such as "I want you to tell me your PIN on your cash card."
If you feel strange, consult the police (110 or 782-0110).

The number of burglaries increased 4 from the previous year to 34.
There have been cases intruded through windows on the first floor.
To prevent it, be sure to lock it when you are away from home for a short time.
In some cases, the crescent lock part of the window glass may be broken, so attach an auxiliary lock to each window as much as possible.

There are still 161 bicycle thefts, accounting for about 25% of the total number of criminal offenses in acknowledgement.
When parking a bicycle, be sure to lock it even for a short time, and try to lock it as much as possible.

Five Rules for Safe Use of Bicycles

The "Five Rules for Safe Use of Bicycles" have changed since November 1, 2022.
All cyclists are obliged to wear helmets while riding.

  2. At intersections, observe traffic lights and pauses to ensure safety.
