Basic Targets
"Kanagawa Ward" connected with a smile
~ Together with the local community, we will promote safe, warm and energetic town development ~
Measures to Achieve Targets
1 Safe and Secure Town Development
In order to facilitate quick evacuation and mitigation in the event of a major earthquake or storm or flood, we will encourage self support to take action by distributing "my disaster prevention map for myself." At the same time, we will support the town's disaster prevention organization, deploying goods and training to strengthen the evacuation center system, and promote initiatives in community support and government support initiatives.
We will work with local communities and related organizations to raise awareness of anti-crime program and traffic safety, such as special fraud.
2 Creating a town where everyone can continue to live lively
As support for the elderly, we will promote initiatives to prevent frail (weakness of the elderly) and promote understanding of dementia.
We will promote the creation of a cooperative system for organizations related to children with disabilities and support activities such as local workshops.
We support activities in local places where parents and children can interact with each other and consult about child care concerns. In addition, we maintain system to plan improvement of consultation, support in imminent ward office and work on early detection of child abuse and prevention of isolation of caregiver.
Town development that is full of charm
We will support the resumption of local activities restricted by the COVID-19 pandemic, work together to solve issues, and promote the development of leaders who support the activities.
We send charm of ward such as historical assets or shopping street and raise interest and attachment to area and bring up connection between inhabitants of a wide range of generations.
In addition, we promote "Kanagawa support love plan" (Kanagawa Ward community-based welfare health plan) in cooperation with local all of you and related organizations.
Organizational management to achieve the goal-making of a trusted ward office-
Improvement of inhabitant of a ward service
We carry out administrative services accurately and promptly by further improving the skills of the ward office staff.
In addition, we push forward environment maintenance so that next agency person can use ward office in relief and comfortably.
Practice on-site principle
Each and every staff member is aware of the responsibilities and roles they should fulfill, listen to the voices of the inhabitants of the ward, practice the on-site principle, and promote community development through collaboration.
Promotion of Team Kanagawa
We will strengthen the cooperation of each section to solve the issues, and work together with "Team Kanagawa".
In addition, in order to improve organizational strength, we will work on work style reforms and promote the creation of a work environment where employees can demonstrate their abilities with satisfaction.
