　Various commendation certificates have been given to those who have been instrumental in beautification of the city and promotion of 3R activities on a daily basis. Mr. Kenkichi Tsurui, Chairman of the Kanagawa Ward Environmental Business Promotion Committee Liaison Council, attended the meeting and thank you for your words.

　Neighborhood Associations, Nishi-Kannagawa 1-chome Tomiyacho, who received the Prefectural Beautification Movement Promotion Award, cleans and manages roads and Takigawa River murmuring green roads, and at the same time, through patrols of garbage collection points, We have contributed to raising awareness of local residents about garbage disposal.

　Akio-kai, who received the Yokohama Environmental Action Award "Clean and Clean Town Development Promoter" Award, has contributed to the creation of a clean city, such as cleaning and weeding of Oguchi-dori shopping streets and roads along national roads.

　Mr. Masao Yamamoto and Akiko Matsumoto, who have been in the Environmental Business Promotion Committee for 20 years, and Takao Masuda and Yoshio Honda, who have been in service for 15 years, have been awarded commendation certificates for their many years of service.

　In the east and west, proper maintenance of public health in "towns" was a major challenge in protecting people's lives and developing "town". Immediately after the opening of the port, this was a major issue for the port town of Yokohama, in terms of preventing epidemics from foreign countries. Even in the age of Reiwa, the need for efforts to improve and maintain the environment remains unchanged.

　It will be a personal matter, but I commute to the ward office through the “Takino River Seseragi Green Road”. It is always clean, refreshing, and I feel very good from morning.

　It was a day filled with gratitude once again that the accumulation of local activities has helped to create a clean and livable city in Kanagawa Ward.
