About the use of the park

Q
I want to know the rules of use, such as what you can do and what you should not do in the park.
A

There are two main types of park use: "free use" and "use requiring permission".

Playing with playground equipment and taking a walk is "free use", but for those that temporarily monopolize and use the park, such as athletic meet, it is "use requiring permission".

About each rule, please see about rule of park use (page of Environmental Planning Bureau).

Q
I want to know how to use baseball stadiums and swimming pools in the park.
A

There are parks in Kanagawa Ward where baseball, swimming and tennis can be used.

Please refer to the park's baseball stadium, tennis court, pool, etc. in the park for how to use it (Environmental Planning Bureau page).

About maintenance of park

Q
I'd like you to clean the park and cut the grass.
A

In a familiar park with a park protection society, the park protection association cooperates with daily cleaning and weeding. In large-scale parks, mowing is carried out once or twice a year, mainly on garden roads and plazas. If you have any questions, please contact Kanagawa Public Works Office.

Q
The playground equipment in the park is broken. I'd like you to repair it.
A

Please contact Kanagawa Public Works Office to check and investigate the site, and if there is any danger, we will promptly provide first aid and repairs.

Q
The fallen leaves from the trees in the park are in trouble. The trees in the park are in the way, and the BS does not come in. I'd like to cut the tree.
A

Trees in the park are pruned about once every several years for the purpose of healthy growth of trees, but pruning and felling are performed for reasons such as falling leaves falling, shade, or BS not showing BS. . We cause inconvenience to neighboring people in particular, but I would like understanding, cooperation to protect and nurture the greenery of the park, which is the property of citizens, and to bring it up. If branches cross the border, please contact Kanagawa Public Works Office to check the situation and take measures such as cutting branches if necessary.

Q
There is a crow's nest on the tree in the park.
A

As a general rule, we do not remove crow's nest. It is unavoidable only when there is no detour and park users and local residents are dangerous due to the attack of parent birds. Capture of wildlife such as crows (including egg collection) requires permission by law, and there is a risk that the parent bird's aggression may increase the aggression of parent birds.

If crows nesting in the park harms people, please notify Kanagawa Public Works Office.

Check the site and install a warning sign. In addition, nests may be removed if the danger is judged to be high and physically removed physically. If there are eggs or chicks in the nest, it may take some time as the trader or staff who have obtained permission will respond.
