Purpose of establishment of the Center
- Expand the base of activities and learning through providing information and consultation to those who want to start social activities and volunteer activities and those who are looking for learning opportunities in various fields.
- We provide information according to the actual conditions of each social movement group and lifelong learning group, support human resource development, exchange promotion, coordination, provision of activity places, etc.
- Promote social activities and lifelong learning by collecting and providing information in cooperation with related organizations.
It is a facility for social activities and lifelong learning!
Introduction of facilities at the center
Consultation Desk
- Consultations such as "I want to start something in the community" or "I want to increase the number of members of activity groups"
- Information on social activities and lifelong learning
- Coordinating people who want to volunteer and those who want to do it (Kanagawa residents' assistant BANK)
We accept various consultations, such as those who are interested in activities in the area, those who are already active in the area, the activities of individuals and groups. Anyone can feel free to contact the Kanagawa Ward Citizens' Activities Support Center!
Exchange Room
It is a conference room that can be used for group activities. Prior registration is required for use.
In addition, tablet terminals that can be used for web conference (Zoom) can be rented to interchange room users!

Request for Use
- If you want to cancel your reservation, please be sure to contact us as soon as you know.
- On the day of use, please receive the "Interchange Room Usage Card" at the center window, fill in the required items, and submit it after use.
- After use, clean and return the arrangement of desks and chairs.
You can use the vacuum cleaners provided in the interchange room for cleaning. - If the following user groups are waiting, please cooperate so that you can leave the room immediately by the time.
Free space
It is a space that anyone can use for discussions and small tasks (capacity: 2 people).
Lending locker (Kametarou BOX)
You can use it based on the following information. Prior registration is required for use.
- Details of use
- Exchange of information (flyers, announcements, etc.) between registered organizations and members
- Storage of mail and faxes noticed by the center
- Distribution of news from the center
- Storage of printing paper, stationery, reference books, etc. necessary for activities (valuables cannot be stored)

Flyer rack
We distribute various flyers such as things related to social activities, local events, and information on towns.
In addition, if it is not for-profit, politics, religion, election activities, etc., but for businesses mainly targeting Kanagawa residents, we also accept flyers (in principle, group registration is required).
Group bulletin board
We post PR posters for activities of registered organizations and announcements of recruitment of groups.
About rental of equipment
In business related to social movement, we can lend equipment of center.

PC corner
You can search for information necessary for social activities and create materials.
- Limited to those related to social activities and lifelong learning.
- We don't have a printer.
- Please use the service within 30 minutes per group.
(However, if there is no other user, it can be extended to another 30 minutes.) - You need to submit a usage slip each time you use it.

Registration requirements
Being an organization that carries out "citizen public interest activities (excluding religion, politics, elections, and activities that may harm the public interest)" prescribed in the Yokohama City Citizen Collaboration Ordinance.
As a general rule, it must be an organization that meets all of the following requirements:
- Non-profit
Activities that are not intended for profit. - Independence
It must be a voluntary activity. - Public interest
Activities aimed at contributing to the promotion of unspecified majority interests. - Subdigenous city area
Mainly activities in Yokohama City.
Registration procedures
- Please fill out the “Application Form for Registration” with required items and submit the by-laws (the articles of incorporation, rules, etc.), materials, flyers, pamphlets, etc. that describe the purpose and content of the organization's activities.
In addition, in order to grasp the outline of the activities of the group firmly and use it for guidance to the group going forward, we recommend that you apply for use registration after coming directly to the counter. - After approval, you will receive a "Registration Card". It takes a certain period of time for approval.
- Others
- The registration period of the group is two years determined by the center (from April 1 to March 31 of the following year). At the time of renewal, we will ask you to apply for registration separately.
- If there is any change in the contents of the registration after registration, please contact the center immediately.
- Even registered organizations cannot use the center if the purpose of use is different from the above conditions.
- Registered organizations are asked to participate in the center's sponsored business at least once a year.

What is the Kanagawa ward assistant BANK?
This system introduces volunteers who want to help with local activities (registrants) by utilizing their special skills, skills, rich experience and knowledge, to Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, children's associations, schools, voluntary group groups, and facilities (clients) in the ward.

In addition, we recommend that you come directly to the counter and apply for registration in order to grasp the outline of the activity and use it for guidance on the future. - After approval, you will receive a "Registration Card". It takes a certain period of time for approval.
- Others
- The registration period for the assistant BANK is two years as determined by the Center (from April 1 to March 31 of the following two years). When renewing, we will ask you to update the registration separately.
- If there is any change in the contents of the registration after registration, please contact the center immediately.
- Even after registration, if the activity content is different from the above-mentioned registration requirements, the registration will be canceled.

The measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases at the Kanagawa Ward Citizens' Activities Support Center were reviewed as follows in accordance with the city's policy.
In addition, we ask for your cooperation in implementing basic infection prevention measures such as wearing masks, hand washing, ventilation, etc. according to the situation at your own discretion.
- We will eliminate capacity restrictions when using interchange rooms, work corners, and free space.
- In addition to installing alcohol for hand disinfection in various places, we will also lend disinfecting items when renting facilities. Please use it if necessary.
- In addition, we will continue to set up partitions at the consultation desk.
