Overview
Did you know that Hokusai Katsushika's ukiyo-e "Kanagawa Okinamiura" used in the design of the new 1,000 yen bill is said to be the scenery seen from off the coast of Kanagawa Ward?
In connection with this ukiyo-e, we will display ukiyo-e from the Edo period and panels related to Kanagawa-juku. At the same time, related books such as the history of banknotes will be exhibited.
