Emergency Information Receiving System

In order to promptly inform the local community of important information in the event of a disaster, Kanagawa Ward has introduced an "emergency information transmission system" that simultaneously informs information such as the status of the establishment of evacuation warning and evacuation sites via telephone and e-mail.

In principle, Phone number and e-mail addresses can be registered in the emergency information transmission system, up to 3 people including the chairman of the district association, up to 3 people including the chairman of the evacuation shelter and Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association.
※Non-registrants can also obtain the latest emergency information (automatic voice) sent from the ward office by calling the dedicated telephone number (050-3196-3300).

If you wish to register for a new emergency information transmission system, or if there is a change in the registered contents, such as a change in the chairman of Neighborhood Association, you can use one of the following methods.

Please submit required items to Kanagawa Ward Disaster Prevention Section after filling out the application form.
You can bring it directly to the counter (501 on the 5th floor of the main building of the Kanagawa Ward Office) by fax (045-324-5904).
Alternatively, you can submit it by mail (to General Affairs Division Disaster Prevention Section, 3-8 Hirodai-Otacho, Kanagawa-ku, 221-0824).
