Izumi Ward Symbol
The Izumi Ward symbol was decided in March 1987 using a design workshop with the participation of the children of the 21st century Izumi Ward.
Kyoko Ogita's work was selected from the more than 300 works produced at the workshop based on the results of the inhabitant's vote. .
Appropriate of Izumi Ward's future image of rural culture, it symbolically expresses the image of the rich natural environment, such as the shining sun, the babbling, and the spring springs, as well as the interaction and solidarity of the rich inhabitants of the ward.
