35.In a calm and bright year, I visited the New Year's Day ceremony organized by the district.

　On January 8 and 9, when the new coronavirus infection had calmed down, the New Year's ceremony was held in the Kamiiida, Izumi-Chuo and Shirayuri districts. We narrowed down the number of participants, devised the holding method such as greetings and introduction of events, and felt the passion of the local people to meet and celebrate the New Year in person.
　At the New Year's greetings ceremony in each district, the presidents of the district federation said, "This year, we would like to cooperate with the whole region this year." For everyone living in the area, it was a greeting that felt such a desire to create a livable area where everyone can live with peace of mind.
　The Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations is the foundation of community connections and support each other. For that purpose, festivals and other events, which are places for mutual interaction among residents, are very important events. We would like to take measures against infection so that this infectious disease can calm down quickly and various activities in the community can be kept in mind, so that it can converge quickly. As ward office, we want to support area in various ways so that local activity becomes active Izumi Ward as before.
