The size of the bee varies depending on the type, but it is about 1.2 to 2.5cm. When flying, you fly with your dahlan and legs down.
The nests are dark gray or brown, and there are many hexagonal holes when viewed from below, and some holes are blocked with white cocoons.
There are many bees on the surface of the nest, and the shape is like a bowl turned upside down or flat to the side.

How to get rid of

First of all, do you think it is necessary to get rid of it?

Paper wasps are also beneficial insects in some respects, such as eating potato insects in garden trees. If you do not oscillate the nest, poke it with a stick, or carelessly approach the nest, you will not attack people, but if a nest is formed in a place that interferes with your life, such as near passages and entrances, It is better to get rid of it as soon as possible.
In the following cases, extermination is not necessarily required.

  • It is a place where people can hardly come close.
  • Window and verandas that do not open and close, and under the eaves on the second floor that is not close to neighbors.
  • If found after mid-October, bees will soon disappear from the nest due to overwintering soon.

※Wasps are more dangerous than paper wasps, so if you do not know the type of bee, consult Health Sanitation Division.
We are introducing extermination companies.

When exterminating

How to get rid of

When you are ready, let's get rid of it as soon as possible.

  1. Work is recommended after the evening.
  2. Work can be done during the day, but if it is dark in the evening, the bees return to the nest, so all bees can be eliminated.
  3. Let's make sure that there is no traffic.
  4. Thoroughly approach the nest, make sure that the bees are not flying, spray towards the nest for about 5 to 10 seconds, and leave the place without panic.
  5. After a while, apply medicine to the nest again to make sure that there are no bees.
  • Bees are very vulnerable to medicine, so you don't need to take a lot of medicine. Even if the medicine does not apply vigorously, the mist is effective enough.
  • If there is a wind, spray it from above the wind.
  • Do not enter directly below the nest because bees will fall from above.

You need to pay attention to this point.

  1. When working, make sure that small children are not close.
  2. Never use a fire to burn and exterminate the nest, as there is a risk of fire.

After extermination

Remove beehives with sticks on the day or the next day after the medicine was applied and removed.
If left untouched, new bees may be born from cocoons.
If you remove the next day, apply the medicine again before removal and then remove it.
After wrapping the removed nest with old newspapers, etc., crush them with your feet, crush them, and dispose of them as garbage without touching them directly.

If you get stuck by a bee, wash the wound with running water.
Just in case, it's a good idea to see a medical institution.
