Food drive
Last Updated July 2, 2024
Are you sleeping at home, food that you got at home but don't eat, or food that you bought a lot but couldn't eat?
If left as it is, the expiration date will pass, and you will throw it away without eating.
Yokohama City recommends a food drive for food that can be eaten but discarded, so-called “food loss”.
Food drive is an activity that connects food left without eating at home to support people who need food, such as single-parent homes, children's cafeterias, and other welfare facilities.
The food you receive will be used for welfare through the Izumi Ward Japan National Council of Social Welfare.
We look forward to your cooperation in "Mottainai" to "Thank you".
