Izumi Public Works Office Road Construction

When person except road manager performs construction or maintenance about road, it must receive approval and perform construction. (Article 24 of the Road Law)
The cost required for this construction, etc., must be borne by the person who has been approved, so it is commonly called self-financing construction.

• Decrease of sidewalks, L-shaped and curbs for vehicles
• Relocation or removal of car stoppers and tree-planting basins
• Relocation of curved mirrors, street trees, etc. (Telephone poles are licensed by Tokyo Electric Power Company)
• Decrease work for setting up designated roads
• Repair and restoration of damaged pavement
• Road maintenance associated with development and residential land development
• In addition, when playing with road structures

(The staff will check the documents and contents and conduct a field survey.)

３．Issuance of Approval
(If the procedure is deemed appropriate, we will issue an approval letter after approval.)

４．Submission of Start Notification

５．Construction work
(Please consider the traffic safety of the surrounding area.)

６．Submission of Completion Notification
(Please attach and submit photos before starting, during construction, and after completion.)

７．Issuance of inspection and acceptance notice
(We will check the site and inspect whether it has been completed properly, and if appropriate, issue a letter of acceptance will be issued after approval.)
