1 What is a health activity promotion member?
Health activity promotion members engage in health promotion activities such as lifestyle-related diseases prevention in the community as a promoter of local health and a partner in government health measures.
It is expected to carry out activities to support the health of local people as a promoter in the area of "Second Health Yokohama 21" which is a guideline for health promotion measures in Yokohama City.
2 Organization of Health Activity Promotion Committee
Health activity promotion members work on a district or ward basis.
3 Activities of Health Activity Promotion Members
（１） Planning and implementation of health promotion activities
The Health Activity Promotion Committee plans and practices health-related learning sessions, such as exercise and smoking cessation, and expands its knowledge to many people.
（２） The role of conduit between the government and local communities (information and sharing)
We provide information and opinions about local health to Health and Welfare Center.
In addition, we will work together to promote health through participation in Health and Welfare Center's health promotion projects, such as the Second Health Yokohama 21.
（３） Promotion of community welfare and health
We carry out various community-based welfare health activities for local health promotion.
4 Training, etc.
（１） Training
You will have the opportunity to take training courses to learn knowledge and methods related to health promotion.
（２） Long-term Service Award
For those who have been active for many years, there is a service award system.

（２） Recommendation of Health Activity Promotion
Health activity promotion members are commissioned by the mayor at the recommendation of Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association. When recommending a new health activity promotion member is recommended.
Please submit the “Recommendation List of Health Activity Promotion Members” to the Health Promotion Section, Izumi Ward Office.Health and Welfare Division.
