Introduction of Activities
I would like to introduce the various activities of the Izumi Ward Sports Promotion Committee.

Izumi Ward Fureai Sports
In order to provide a place where Izumi Ward people can easily enjoy sports, we hold sports experience events at Izumi Sports Center once a year around December.
In 2024, on Sunday, December 1, we held a basketball class at Yokohama B Corsears and a sports experience such as molk, Strack Nine, and quoits in the form of a stamp rally.
District activities “Children's Swimming Classes”
As part of the district activities of the Izumi Ward Sports Promotion Committee, we conduct swimming classes for elementary school students.
In fiscal 2024, swimming classes for beginners in swimming were held at Ryokuen Gakuen and Nakata Elementary School during the summer vacation.
"Yokohama Marathon" that supports city-wide events
Sports promotion committee supports many events held in Yokohama as dispatch workers.
At the Yokohama Marathon, course trackers (safety management such as preventing general passers-by from entering the course), cautions and guides (signboards with notes and guidance), pedestrian bridge guides, toilet guides, pedestrian crossings As a guide, I am engaged in preparing and clearing the course.
