Introduction of Izumi Ward Health Mate (Dietary Improvement Committee)
~ Familiar health promotion advisor ~
Last update date February 13, 2023
What is "Health Mate"?
Healthmate is a nickname for the nationwide volunteer organization "Dietary Life Improvement Promotion Committee", which promotes health through food.
Under the slogan "Our health is our hands," we hold health lectures and food education events for a wide range of generations, from children to the elderly.
The members are currently 53 men and women in their 40s and 80s. (As of April 2022)
In regular workshops held every month, we learn new information as a place for self-improvement, and develop food education activities according to life stages at various venues such as community care plazas and schools.
In the activity, I wear the trademark "pink apron and triangle width" and "pink T-shirt", so if you see it, please call out!
