"The 30th Okamura Umebayashi Umebayashi Ume Festival" was held.

　On Sunday, February 26, the 30th Okamura Umebayashi Ume Festival was held at Bairin, Okamura Park. Although it was chilly in the morning, it became warmer as the sun rose and the number of people increased. In particular, the children seemed to be very much looking forward to the plum festival for the first time in a long time, and there were many people taking their friends, headed to Okamura Bairin while climbing the hill.
　At the venue, amazake was also served, and visitors were carefully appreciating the colorful plums one by one while tasting. In the open space inside the venue, goods that participants could enjoy, such as hagoita, quoits, moulds, beanbags, badminton, etc. were prepared, and various activities were enjoyed. A sketching tournament was also held for children, and many children participated freely and enthusiastically drawing the plum trees in the park. The children who participated were given an assortment of sweets to everyone at the supplementary prize. Around noon, there were commendations for excellent works of each grade, souvenirs were awarded, and both children and adults cheered loudly.
