　On Saturday, February 18, the 20th Yokodai Ume no Sato Festival and the 57th Yokodai District Mini Kenmin Festival were held at Yokodai Nishi Park and Hiromitsu Taipei housing complex Lawn Plaza. .
　On the day, many people who were blessed with the weather and were invited by the beautifully blooming plum blossoms came to Kanume. At the venue of Nishi Park, a sketching tournament was also held, from infants to adults, beautifully depicting the white plums and red plums that were just in full bloom, delighting visitors to the venue. In addition, matcha was served for the first time in three years, plum dragonflies (ume-shaped bamboo dragonflies) were distributed, and a corner for health checks was set up.
　Also, on the lawn open space, a molk exchange tournament was held, wrapped in lively cheers of the participants. Molk originated from the traditional Finnish sport "Kiykka", throwing a molk (short wooden stick) and hitting a wooden stick with numbers to compete for points.
