In order to protect our lives, we need to know a lot as consumers.
"Promotion of consumer life" means "protecting our lives and improving quality."
"Consumer Life Promotion Members" are working to do so.
We are recruiting members of Consumer Life Promotion in Reiwa 7.8!
We are recruiting Isogo Ward Consumer Affairs Promotion Members who will be active from April 2025 to March 2027.
In Isogo Ward, we commission a consumer affairs promotion member to those recommended by Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations.

It has been six years since I was commissioned by a consumer life promotion member. Enlightenment and interaction with local people by holding lectures on the most important issue of "damage to malicious business law". In addition, measures to prevent global warming that are causing severe weather, which is currently regarded as important. Actions that we consumers should take immediately (food loss reduction, local production for local consumption, separation of garbage, etc.).
Fiscal 2020 was an unforgettable year of the COVID-19 pandemic and the excitement of Hayabusa2. I hope that Corona will end and we will be able to do our usual activities. I would like to make use of this six years as a consumer life promotion member and continue to aim for a smart consumer in the future.

The only thing I remember is that we were unable to do enough activities in the last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Six years ago, I was asked by Neighborhood Association to accept it without knowing the reason.
However, when I participated, it was a very meaningful activity, such as studying the changing malicious business law and special fraud techniques every day, visiting disaster prevention, visiting water purification plants and power plants.
It was also a fun experience to display panels and create works at the Tokutoku Life Festa in November. Looking at the panels of each district, I learned what I didn't know, and made cute works with the children using unnecessary items so that they could be recycled.
Although I was not a member of the promotion who received it positively, I was able to get to know many people in six years and had a valuable experience above all. I hope that more people will continue to take over fun activities.

As a member of the Consumer Affairs Promotion Committee, I learned a lot about water regeneration, food and garbage issues that are deeply involved in life, and at various lectures, what is happening in today's society. .
In the Malicious Business Law Damage Prevention Lecture, we played skits in an easy-to-understand manner, told answering machines and how to prevent damage, and deepened friendship with local elderly people. .
What I am most pleased is that if the town is different, I will work with people I did not know, become very close friends, and have been interacting for a long time. Please experience the consumer life promotion staff who can learn while having fun.

Members of the Consumer Affairs Promotion are those who are commissioned by the mayor and work based on the "Yokohama City Consumer Ordinance" aiming at realizing safe and comfortable consumer life for citizens. .
Those who have been recommended by Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and those who are interested in consumer life and who have applied are working together, and approximately 1,350 promotion staff members are active throughout Yokohama.
In Isogo Ward, 70 people are commissioned to promote consumer life in fiscal 2005 and 6, and are engaged in community-based learning sessions and training activities, as well as activities throughout the ward.

I'm doing this kind of activity
We plan seminars and facility tours related to consumer life to deepen our knowledge and understanding in order to learn about minor questions and anxiety that we feel in our daily lives with the residents of the city. The results are announced to local residents through "News from Consumer Life" and events in the district.

Tokutoku Life Festa
It is an event that promotes the knowledge and information gained through daily activities and activities of the entire Isogo Ward through exchanges with local people.
At the ward office 1st floor inhabitant of a ward hall, promotion members of each district will perform demonstrations, sales of local vegetables (local production for local consumption corner), and quiz rally-style panel displays where prizes can be obtained on a first-come, first-served basis.
