What is Spo GOMI?
Spo GOMI is a completely new sport originated in Japan that has added the essence of "sports" to conventional garbage collection that companies and organizations are working on, and has converted past community service activities into "competitions".
Basic rules of the Spo GOMI Games
A team of five will work together to pick up garbage in the designated area within the time limit, and compete on the quality and quantity at points.
Results of the tournament
Date and time: From 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, December 7, 2024
Location: Ground parking lot in front of Isogo Ward General Government Building (competition area is within 1.5 km around Isogo Station)
Number of participants: 92 people (24 teams)
Total amount of garbage collected: 118.78㎏
