This work starts by stirring the filled soil with planters!
You can finally check the disassembly of kitchen garbage!

I found white mold!
  • I'm going to stir it up! !

When I dug the soil around the first and second times, I found a lot of onion skin left.
There's no smell at all and no other kitchen garbage can be found, so I'm sure it's broken down!
Even though I put the horse mackerel's tail 4 days ago, it was gone! But I found the larvae, and there was a slight smell here~
Mix all the larvae and soil together, and stir the whole so that a lot of oxygen that microorganisms like can live!

It's been about two weeks since I started.
Only the onion skin has not been broken down~
The other kitchen garbage
There's no trace!
White mold in the soil
Good! Good!
  • Finishing

This time there was a larvae in the soil.
The larvae cannot absorb nutrients without water, and weakens and dies.
That's why I didn't add water this time.
After that, I put dry soil on the stirred soil so that insects would not come in.
I have to stir again next week to check the decomposition!

I wonder if the onion skin will be broken down someday ...
So that insects don't come in
I poured a lot of dry soil

kitchen garbage of vegetables!
The onion skin does not seem to be suitable for soil mixing, so I removed it this time.

Carrots, mizuna, green onions
I removed the onion skin.

Chokichoki

The cabbage core was raw, so it was hard to cut it, so I cut it carefully.
I tried to cut it larger than usual because it seems to be quicker in summer.

Impressions

This time I was able to stir and see how kitchen garbage was disassembled!
I was surprised that kitchen garbage had lost shape in about four days!
kitchen garbage, a vegetable, had no smell and had a refreshing smell.
Fish attract insects, smell a little, and I want to shunn a little.
Considering the nutrition of the soil, it is necessary, so I will keep it in the future.
I hope you don't have any insects when mixing next week.
