About the timing of the test

In the early stages of infection, blood tests are negative, and there are times when the test does not know that you are infected. This is called the "window period" (window period). HIV may not be able to get accurate test results unless HIV is more than 3 months from the possible opportunity of infection, and syphilis for more than 6 weeks.
If you are worried about infection, you can get one guide by taking a test and consultation, even within three months from the chance of infection. However, even if the result is "negative", it is recommended that you undergo a test again more than three months after the possible chance of infection in order to finally confirm it.

Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS and syphilis

What is HIV/AIDS?

HIV is Human Immunodeficiency Virus (human immunodeficiency virus).
AIDS is a disease caused by HIV infection, but it does not mean "HIV = AIDS".
Infection with HIV, the function of immunity is reduced, making it easier for pathogens that are not normally infected, causing various diseases.
The condition of this disease is called AIDS (Accquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome, Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome).
Twenty-three typical diseases are defined, and when they develop, AIDS is diagnosed. At present, various therapeutic drugs are available, and proper medication is becoming possible to prevent the onset of AIDS.
Influenza-like symptoms may appear within a few weeks after HIV infection, but after that there is no symptom-free period lasts about 5 to 10 years, so there is a risk of spreading the infection without notice .

What is syphilis?

Syphilis is one of the sexually transmitted diseases and can be transmitted by kisses and oral sexes.
The cause is a bacterium called Treponema, and the name of the disease is derived from the fact that the red rash, which may be seen as a symptom, resembles Yangume.
I have no symptoms at first. Several weeks after infection, symptoms such as lumps, soreness, and rash appear in about three months, but these symptoms often do not involve pain or itching.
Proper use of condoms can reduce the risk of infection, but it cannot be completely prevented.
A blood test can tell you if there is an infection. Let's have your partner test together.
Syphilis is a disease that can be cured by early treatment.
Syphilis may be infected again after treatment is completely cured by treatment.
Delaying test or treatment, or leaving it untreated can cause serious complications to the heart, blood vessels, and brain.
If a pregnant person suffers syphilis, it may cause miscarriages, stillbirths, or congenital syphilis that are born with syphilis. Appropriate antibiotics treatment for infected pregnant women can reduce the risk of mother-to-child transmission.
