Around the park, residential areas spread around the Nishiya Water Purification Plant, making it a relatively natural area in Hodogaya Ward. On the north side of the park, Katabira River, Soutetsu Line, and National Route 16 run east and west. On the west plateau, large-scale residential areas such as the prefectural Nishihara Housing Complex and the Kunugidai housing complex. There is Nishiya water purification plant across.
