NO.7 "25th Hodogaya Ward Handmade Paper Hikoki Tournament" was held!

　The 25th Hodogaya Ward Handmade Paper Hikoki Tournament was held at Hodogaya Sports Center on Sunday, July 2nd.
More than 100 athletes who won the qualifying rounds in 18 districts in the city gathered on the day of the tournament, which has a history of the 25th this time, competing for the flight time of handmade paper Hikoki.

　I also flew at the test throwing ceremony, which was not the opening ceremony, and I was able to record about 7 seconds. Was it a good example (laughs).
　Since the competition started, the venue was united in a lively atmosphere, with big applause from the grandstand every time a good record was made.
　On this day, the tournament record (15 seconds 11 * has not been broken for more than 10 years) did not come true, but a wonderful record of 11 seconds09 was measured. Congratulations to all the winners.
　The competition is held in four classes according to age, but "fun Hikoki" for elementary school students and younger can participate, was also held for the first time in four years, and the cheers of the children were echoing. In the basic strategy of the medium-term plan, Yokohama City has set forth "Yokohama, a town that nurtures the next generation together." We will continue to work on events that will make Hodogaya Ward children smile.
