Changes in town names
April 1, 1927Nishitani-mura, Tsuzuki-gun was transferred to Hodogaya-ku, Yokohama, and Kawajima-cho was born.-
April 1, 1939Okamura and Futamatagawa-mura, Tsuzuki-gun have been transferred to Yokohama City (Hodogaya Ward), and almostAsahi Ward villages have become towns, and Kamikawaicho, Shimokawaicho, Kawaicho, Imajukucho, Kamishiranecho, Shimo-Shiranecho, Futamatagawa-cho, Santandacho, Otakacho, and Ichizawa-cho were born.
There are 11 towns.
