Yokohama City Planning Master Plan

In August 2004, Asahi Ward formulated the Asahi Ward Plan of the Yokohama City Urban Planning Master Plan, “Asahi Ward Town Development,” and has been promoting urban development with the goal of “a city that values living”. More than 10 years have passed since the formulation, and the situation surrounding Asahi Ward has changed drastically due to the rapid aging of society and the progress of large-scale urban development. In addition, the "Yokohama City Basic Plan (Long-Term Vision)" was formulated in 2006, and the "Yokohama City Urban Planning Master Plan / Overall Plan" was revised in 2013 in line with changes in socio-economic conditions. It is necessary to coordinate with.
In light of these circumstances, we revised the Asahi Ward Plan to show the vision of the future of Asahi Ward 20 years from now and to work together with residents and businesses to realize it. After the City Planning Council in August 2018, we revised the Asahi Ward Plan.
