Urban Planning Master Plan Asahi Ward Plan “Asahi Ward Town Development” (formerly Asahi Ward Plan: formulated in August 2004)

In order to become a town where the functions necessary for the familiar living area are substantial
The goal of town development was "a town that values living."

Specifically, we aim to create the following towns.

• A town surrounded by water and greenery where you can interact with nature.

We value the greenery of Katabira River and hills, and aim to be a town where people can interact with nature.

• A town where you can easily go out with a transportation network.

Roads and transportation to stations and public facilities are in place, and we aim to be a town with an environment where pedestrians can walk safely and comfortably.

• A town where the area around the station is convenient and fun to live.

Around Futamatagawa and Tsurugamine Stations, functions suitable for subcenters are concentrated, and around other stations, we aim to be a town with facilities and functions that support the daily life of inhabitants of the ward.

• A town where people can support each other in the community and continue to live with peace of mind

We aim to be a town that is resistant to disasters and has a living environment where everyone, from children to the elderly, can continue to live with peace of mind.
