The story of well water

Are you kind to nature?

Be careful of domestic wastewater that comes out every day!
Domestic wastewater, such as kitchens and baths, becomes sewage, and is purified at a sewage treatment plant, and then returned to nature.
Please try to live a nature-friendly life to reduce domestic wastewater as much as possible, such as treating it with little modifications without rinsing it as it is, and reuse the bath water for washing.

It's the one who manages it.

Well water that uses water soaked underground can be contaminated with various substances.
Well water pollution caused by chemical substances is not noticed in daily management and inspection.
Use tap water for which safety has been confirmed for drinking water, and use well water as miscellaneous water such as washing water.
For consultation on well water use, please contact Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division.

*When drinking well is contaminated
Please inform the user to stop drinking immediately and contact Health and Welfare Center.

To the owners and managers

When well water is used as domestic water for drinking, etc. at offices and multiple households, the "Water Supply Law" or "Ordinance on Securing Safe and Hygiene Drinking Water in Yokohama City Simple Water Supply and Small-Scale Water Tank Water Supply" In addition, "Preliminary confirmation of laying work", "Water quality inspection", "Request for periodic inspection of management status" are required.
